Gulliver’s Warrington is nestled within a beautiful park setting, where much of the fantasy is created by wonderful towering trees, and a beautiful lake forms the centrepiece of the park. Let us take you away from your daily worries and concerns into a world of wonder and fantasy, where anything is possible and your imagination is inspired. From the tumbling and juggling fun of Circus World, mosey on down to High Noon in Western World, walk with dinosaurs in the prehistoric Lost World, feel your knees tremble in Count’s Castle and shiver your timbers in Smugglers Wharf. Be courageous and bold in Adventure World and splash around in Water World. All the family can let their imaginations run wild and discover a world of fun together at Gulliver’s Warrington.
Lancaster Castle - Discover one of the most important historic monuments in the northwest. This fascinating Grade One listed building has dominated Lancaster for almost 1000 years and is one of the best preserved and hardest working castles of England. Lancaster Castle was the place where the Lancashire Witches were convicted and condemned to die. Experience the dungeons and imagine what it was like to have been imprisoned there. Visit the Crown Court where thousands of convicts were transported to Australia and then marvel at the beautiful Gillow furniture in the Grand Jury Room and the famous display of heraldry in the Shire Hall.
Muncaster Castle - home to the Pennington family for 830 years, is a genuine treasure trove of art and antiques. Its Great Hall, Octagonal Library and elegant Dining Room are all windows on a grand past. But Muncaster's wild history reveals a flipside to life in a stately home. The castle evolved from the Pele Tower, built to repel marauding Scots. Those who stay here say it is haunted by ghosts, including the legendary Tom Fool.
Naworth Castle - Formerly a great stronghold of the Lord Wardens of the Marches, Naworth is a romantic, medieval castle set in rugged and historic Border country, some twelve miles north east of Carlisle. Home of the Dacre and Howard families, the castle dates back to the early 14th century, although there is evidence of an earlier fortification.
