Ribble Steam Railway - you will find information from our latest news to the railway's history - a stock list detailing our exhibits details of how to join the railway as a member and information about planned events. During 2001, a new workshop and carriage shed was constructed in order to restore our locomotives to exhibition standard, and we're now working on fitting out the museum, to bring the people of the North West a fully interactive look into our industrial railway heritage. In addition to the museum facilities, passenger trains run along the mile and a half of track from Strand Road, up to the headquarters on Chain Caul Road, crossing the swing bridge positioned at the entrance to the Riversway marina. Our trains are hauled by Restored Industrial Steam and Diesel Locomotives
